You will oversee Phase II–III oncology studies, perform on-site visits, SDV/CRF reviews, and build partnerships with investigative sites while driving enrollment and protocol compliance. Remote flexibility with regional travel is offered.

Piper Companies is actively seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join a growing team supporting late-phase oncology trials within the biotech industry. The Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a high-velocity environment and bring a hands‑on, relationship‑driven approach to clinical site monitoring and trial execution.

Responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA):

• Oversee Phase II–III oncology studies independently, ensuring adherence to ICH-GCP guidelines, study protocols, and internal SOPs
• Perform on-site monitoring visits (approximately 8 days monthly), including site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out activities
• Conduct source data verification/review and case report form assessments to maintain audit-ready data quality
• Build strong partnerships with investigative sites to drive enrollment, ensure protocol compliance, and resolve operational challenges
• Proactively identify site risks, elevate issues, and ensure milestones and study deliverables remain on track

Qualifications of the Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA):

• Proven experience as a Senior CRA with a focus on oncology clinical trials (required)
• Demonstrated expertise in independent monitoring and full lifecycle trial oversight
• Prior experience working directly with biotech sponsors in a client‑facing capacity
• Ability to manage multiple clinical sites and competing priorities with limited supervision
• Hands‑on oncology site monitoring experience
