Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in California is seeking a Clinical Monitor to conduct remote or on-site visits, ensure protocol and regulatory compliance, and prepare essential documents across multiple sponsors.

You will monitor site performance using risk-based monitoring, perform RCA, review SDR/SDV/CRF, manage investigations, and travel 60–80% as required. A life sciences degree or RN and strong ICH-GCP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or RN certification.
• 1–5 years clinical research monitoring experience, depending on level.
• Valid driver’s license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Monitors investigator sites with a risk-based monitoring approach.
• Applies root cause analysis and problem-solving to drive site compliance.
• Ensures data accuracy through SDR, SDV and CRF review.
• Documents observations in reports and letters in a timely manner.
• Travel requirement >75%.
