Job summary

The City of Tampa is seeking a senior CRA Contracts and Development Manager to oversee Projects, Grants, and Administrative Teams within the Community Redevelopment Areas. The role coordinates government contracts, agency finances, and compliance with municipal rules, working with officials and public/private stakeholders.

Responsibilities include budget assistance, TIF administration, SOP implementation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, urban planning, or a related field.
• Eight (8) years of managerial or supervisory experience on private and/or public development projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide Projects, Grants, and Administrative Teams.
• Oversee administration of development agreements to ensure contract compliance.
• Oversee customer service, records maintenance, and accounting for the agency.
• Implement and manage Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participate in public meetings to exchange information and address issues.
• Represent City in collaborations with boards and officials on redevelopment issues.
• Maintain databases and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Recommend personnel actions, development, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with annual budgets and administer Tax Increment Financing (TIF).
• Pursue additional funding opportunities to leverage CRA incentives.
