Job summary

Cognizant in Chicago is seeking a Coupa Solution Architect specializing in contract and agreement management with a strong focus on source-to-pay processes. The role is hybrid with 3-4 days onsite at a client or Cognizant office in Chicago, IL, translating complex procurement requirements into scalable, compliant technology solutions.

You will partner with procurement, legal, finance, and IT teams to deliver designs, configure Coupa modules, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of progressive solution architecture or senior consulting experience with a focus on procurement platforms.
• Hands-on experience building and delivering contract/agreement management solutions, incl. workflow setup and obligation tracking.
• Expertise across supply chain procurement and procure-to-pay functions: requisitioning, sourcing, supplier onboarding, PO collaboration, invoicing.
• Extensive Coupa experience: configuring core procurement modules, catalog management, approvals.
• Strong requirements analysis, business process mapping, and stakeholder documentation.

Responsibilities

• Architect designs that optimize contract management and procure-to-pay workflows via Coupa and related tools.
• Evaluate current source-to-pay processes to identify gaps and design scalable improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, operations, and tech teams to capture needs and write specs.
• Configure (or oversee configuration of) Coupa modules, aligning with policies and data models.
• Support data flow and validate designs against standards, privacy, security and regulatory obligations.
• Serve as SME on contract lifecycle management, including structures, approvals, and obligation tracking.
