Job summary

JPMorganChase in the United States seeks a Counterparty Credit Risk Senior Associate to join Risk Management and Compliance. You will support risk analysis across client portfolios, partnering with Sales, Trading, Credit Officers, Quantitative Research, Technology, and Operations to monitor exposures and strengthen methodologies.

You will contribute to credible risk views, automate workflows with AI, and help drive policy updates and governance across the firm.

Qualifications

3+ years in risk management, quantitative finance, financial engineering, financial mathematics, or data analytics.
Working knowledge of OTC derivatives across asset classes.
Proficiency with Python, Tableau, or Alteryx for data analysis and reporting.
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency for documentation and presentations.

Responsibilities

Support traded products counterparty risk analysis with Sales, Trading, and Credit Officers.
Operate in a fast-paced environment, managing workload to deliver team outcomes.
Perform deep dives on counterparty exposure and advise on model limitations.
Contribute to exposure methodology updates by partnering with risk stakeholders.
Manage firmwide initiatives improving exposure metrics and tech capabilities.
Provide credible risk views and challenge to business stakeholders.
