Job summary

OKX's Global Legal team seeks a commercially minded Deputy General Counsel to lead strategic partnerships and institutions initiatives. You will advise on high-stakes cross-border transactions, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and technology partnerships, shaping policy and practice across multiple jurisdictions.

In this role you will partner with product, engineering and business development to align initiatives with regulatory requirements, while mentoring junior lawyers and facilitating

Qualifications

• Must hold a law degree and be eligible to practice as an advocate.
• 10+ years experience in law firms, digital assets firm or financial institutions.
• Proven track record with strategic partnerships including cooperation agreements and incentive agreements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attorney on strategic partnerships and trading arrangements, including alliances and cooperation agreements.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage high-stakes commercial agreements and joint ventures.
• Advise on cross-border transactions, crypto product structuring, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance.
• Act as key legal advisor within the global strategic partnership team for partnerships, trading, and P2P platforms.
• Translate complex legal issues into clear, commercially actionable guidance for product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product and business development to align initiatives with regulatory requirements.
