A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel with over seven years of experience to join their Community Development Finance Practice Group in Irvine, CA. The candidate should have substantial real estate transactional experience, including real estate lending and joint venture financing, with a preference for experience in transactions involving tax credits.
- Draft senior, real estate secured loan documents and joint venture partnership agreements.
- Review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys.
- Oversee paralegal title and survey review.
- Represent lenders, investors, and syndicators in real estate financings qualifying for tax credits.
- Licensed to practice in the state of California.
- Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- State Bar of California license.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Experience with tax credit programs.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
