Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and NY license.
• Minimum five years of relevant law firm, public sector, or in-house experience.
• Excellent negotiating, drafting, and practice-management skills.
• Ability to supervise paralegals and mentor junior attorneys.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the MTA and its agencies in transactions, contracts, and related documents.
• Provide legal counsel on regulatory, policy, and risk issues within procurement and contracts.
• Lead negotiations and due diligence on complex procurements and inter-agency agreements.
• Collaborate with outside counsel and internal teams to advance transaction objectives.
