Job summary

A dynamic law firm in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Associate/Counsel to manage a diverse caseload, including family law and commercial litigation. The successful candidate will collaborate with Principals on legal strategies, conduct legal research, and communicate effectively with clients. Candidates should have a Juris Doctor, be admitted to the NJ Bar, and possess at least 5 years of litigation experience. A competitive salary between $165K - $195K is offered, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Admission to the NJ Bar; co-admission to the NY Bar is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ litigation attorney experience required.
• Member in good standing of the state bar(s) necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery, hearings, trials, and depositions.
• Develop and revise appropriate legal strategy with Principals.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
• Provide guidance to clients regarding legal rights.
• Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law.
