The ideal candidate combines strong litigation and eDiscovery experience, practical business judgment, and the ability to build scalable processes. This individual will help shape and mature MiniMed's litigation readiness, eDiscovery, legal hold, and information governance capabilities as the Company continues its evolution as a standalone public company.

  • Provide practical legal advice to business leaders regarding legal claims, litigation risk, and dispute prevention.
eDiscovery
  • Lead and continue to grow the company's eDiscovery, legal hold, and litigation readiness programs.
  • Develop metrics, reporting, and governance processes related to litigation portfolio management, eDiscovery, legal holds, vendor performance, and information governance initiatives.
  • Coordinate data collections and discovery matters across multiple business systems, custodians, and data sources.
  • Manage eDiscovery vendors, review platforms, and technology solutions.
  • Leverage analytics, TAR, and AI-assisted review technologies to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Partner with Information Technology, Security, Compliance, and external providers regarding ESI governance and discovery preparedness.
  • Support investigations, audits, and regulatory responses involving significant document preservation, collection, and review efforts.
Information Governance

  • Partner with business, IT, Compliance, and Records Management stakeholders to enhance information governance, retention, and disposition practices.
  • Advise on retention schedules, disposition practices, and data governance matters.
  • Assist in developing policies, procedures, and training related to records, information governance, and litigation readiness.
Required Qualifications
