Job summary

A leading insurance firm in Atlanta seeks a Senior Counsel to provide legal guidance in a dynamic property & casualty insurance environment. This role involves advising Executive Leadership, managing contracts, and overseeing regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will possess a Juris Doctor degree, 7-10 years of relevant experience, and strong negotiation and communication skills. The position operates on a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Active member of at least one state bar in good standing.
• 7-10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in property & casualty insurance.
• Strong knowledge of state insurance laws and regulatory processes.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to Executive Leadership and business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
• Manage outside counsel on litigation and other specialized legal matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate changes to business partners.
