Job summary

Ladders seeks a Senior Counsel, Employment to act as a trusted partner on employment matters across our enterprise technology client. You will guide hiring, performance, and separations with risk-aware judgment and draft/revise policies to support scale and compliance.

Based remotely in the United States, you will navigate multi-jurisdictional issues, manage investigations, and collaborate with stakeholders to align legal work with business priorities and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • J.D. with active license in at least one U.S. state.
  • 10+ years of employment law experience in law firm and in-house settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law, including employee relations and workplace investigations.
  • Experience supporting a multi-jurisdictional workforce, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong drafting skills for employment agreements and policies.
  • Ability to provide risk-calibrated legal advice while supporting business goals.
  • Interest in integrating AI tools into legal practice.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Counsel, Employment to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will serve as a trusted legal partner on employment matters that shape how the business hires, manages, and supports its workforce. The attorney will provide practical, risk-aware guidance across a multi-jurisdictional environment while helping business leaders navigate day-to-day people decisions and workplace challenges. This position also plays an important role in drafting policies, managing investigations and claims, and supporting legal initiatives that align with broader organizational priorities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $175,000 - $241,000 annually
