Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• Typically 8+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Active State License - Multiple Issuers

Responsibilities

• Oversees legal research, analysis, consultation, and documentation within a framework of legal compliance and risk management.
• Manages outside counsel relationships and provides strategic direction on when to leverage outside counsel.
• Works with outside counsel to combine their advice with input from internal stakeholders to offer practical guidance.
• Networks with outside organizations to advance legal interests and the corporation and its industry.
