Job summary

GROPYUS is seeking a Senior Cost Optimization Manager - Building Systems to drive cost competitiveness across our prefabricated building portfolio. You will work across product development, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and construction to identify and realize cost-saving opportunities throughout the building lifecycle.

You will develop transparent cost models, apply design-to-cost and value engineering, and push for measurable reductions while partnering with Product, Engineering,

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in cost engineering and value engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, interfaces, and cost drivers.
• Proven track record of delivering cost reductions through cross-functional initiatives.
• Fluent English language skills and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the Building Systems Cost Optimization strategy across product development, manufacturing, procurement and construction.
• Apply design-to-cost, should-cost, value engineering and target-costing methodologies.
• Identify, analyze and prioritize cost optimization opportunities for systems, components and interfaces.
• Develop and maintain transparent cost models and benchmarks for continuous learning.
• Drive cross-functional cost optimization initiatives and implement improvement measures.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Construction and R&D teams to embed cost awareness.
