Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Cost Manager for our Data Center projects, based at the Wenatchee campus with hybrid on-site work. You will lead tender analyses, cost planning, and change management to deliver best-value outcomes for clients.

You will manage budgets, produce cost reports, and mentor teams while collaborating with stakeholders. Flexible travel to job sites may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior cost manager, ideally from a cost consultancy background.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management including budget control and cost planning.
• Chartered or on the path to complete it; support available.

Senior Cost Manager- Data Centers (hybrid on-site)

In this role you will:

• Actively participate in the tender/bid process--from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
• Manage the change management process - identifying , analyzing, approving, and implementing changes that affect the project cost
• Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
• Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication
• Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
• Foster top performance and growth for your employees via excellent mentorship and leadership

• Have experience as a senior cost manager, ideally from a cost consultancy background
• Have experience in pre - contract cost management while be ing experienced in budget control, cost planning, prepar ing and initiat ing change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders wh ile be ing knowledgeable on alternative construction material s

• This position will ideally be based on-site at the Data Center campus in Wenatchee. However, remote candidates who can travel to the job site for 4 consecutive days per month will be considered.

The salary range for this role is between $108,800 and $145,000 but actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set and education.
