Job summary

Cumming Group is a dynamic, fast-growing project and cost management consultancy with over 70 offices worldwide. We are seeking an experienced cost manager/quantity surveyor to estimate scope, build subcontractor relations, lead client accounts, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Construction or related field with 5–8 years of experience, MRICS or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

  • BS in Construction, Cost Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • 5–8 years in Cost Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation preferred.
  • MRICS/AssocRICS/CCP/CEP/CPE or equivalent accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret and estimate scope of work from project documents.
  • Develop and nurture sub-contractor, vendor and client relationships.
  • Lead client accounts and contract negotiations.
  • Prepare sub-contractor analysis sheets for assigned scope.
  • Evaluate changes and provide cost estimates across all project phases.
  • Manage contract administration at the project level.
  • Support senior management with reports and inquiries.
  • Mentor associate level cost and commercial managers.
