Job summary

Purely Works in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to manage comprehensive cost estimating for large-scale capital projects, linking scope, milestones and the cost of labor, material, equipment and productivity.

You will lead estimating work for infrastructure and utility mega-projects, develop custom estimation tools, maintain historical cost libraries, and present proposals to senior management and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional certifications CEP, CCEA, PE or PMP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes blueprints, specifications, and docs to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborates with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to align estimates with scope.
• Uses estimating software to calculate costs, organize data, and produce executive reports.
• Prepares cost estimates across the project lifecycle from concept to final construction.
• Maintains historical cost libraries to benchmark future costs.
