Job summary

Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to drive cost estimates and analyses across space systems and programs for the Space Force.

You will advise program managers on financial aspects of space vehicles, ground segments, software suites, and integration infrastructure. The role requires extensive DoD acquisition knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to present data-driven insights to government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical or sciences/economics field
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles
• Experience with cost estimating/analysis across DoD/IC customers is required
• Strong communication and presentation skills to Government customers

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop cost estimates and risk analyses with documentation
• Collaborate with program managers and technical teams on acquisition documents
• Research designs to identify cost drivers and build dynamic estimates
• Present results to Government customers and leadership
• Analyze contractor data to support source selection processes
• Support program management reviews and provide defendable cost positions
• Maintain technical familiarity with supported programs
