Job summary

Expect involvement with projects valued from hundreds of millions to over a billion dollars, ensuring accurate cost capture and reporting. The position requires strong EPC cost control experience in Oil & Gas or LNG sectors, with hands-on cost forecasting and executive-level cost metric

Qualifications

• Minimum cost engineering experience in large EPC projects.
• Ability to analyze and report cost performance and KPIs.
• Experience supporting Oil & Gas, LNG, or energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost baselines for EPC projects.
• Monitor cost performance, forecast trends, and prepare KPI reports for Project Directors.
• Support contingency planning and progress for EPC cost controls.

Senior Analyst, Cost | Project Controls | Houston, TX

I’m working with a leading energy company that is looking to add a Senior Analyst, Cost to their Project Controls team in Houston.

This is a full-time, fully onsite position in Downtown Houston supporting major EPC projects.

What they’re looking for:

• Strong cost engineering / cost analysis experience
• EPC project experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Power, or another energy-related environment
• Experience supporting projects valued at $300M+, with preference for candidates who have worked on projects closer to $1B+
• Strong understanding of project cost performance and reporting
• Experience presenting cost metrics and KPIs to Project Directors
• Knowledge of project contingency and contingency management
• Understanding of EPC performance measurement
• Knowledge of Rules of Credit and earning progress for EPC projects

Compensation:

$160K–$170K base salary + 20% cash and stock bonus
