Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a seasoned Cost Accounting Leader to own product costing, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis. You will collaborate across production, procurement, and engineering to manage costs and drive strategic pricing decisions.

Requirements include a Master's in Accounting or Finance, 12+ years in cost accounting (big4 exposure preferred) with at least 2 years in a managerial role, SAP and strong Excel/data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CMA/CPA desirable.
• 12+ years of cost accounting experience, including manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with SAP, cost accounting, inventory management, and strong data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Cost Accounting Management: Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze cost reports, margins, and profitability trends.
• Inventory Control: Conduct audits and updates to maintain accurate valuation.
• Collaboration: Partner with production, procurement, and engineering to manage costs.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to budgeting and pricing strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and assist audits.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor cost accounting staff.
