Job summary

Global Manufacturing Company is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its Finance team during a major finance transformation initiative. The role focuses on month-end close, financial reporting, cost accounting, and improving processes across operations and engineering.

You will support POC accounting, GAAP compliance, and ERP improvements, partnering with cross-functional teams. A 4+ year background in manufacturing accounting and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 4+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with cost accounting and POC accounting.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• ERP experience required; M3 preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closes and financial reporting.
• Support POC accounting, revenue recognition, and manufacturing cost accounting.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and GL reviews.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing to improve processes and reporting.
• Assist with audits, internal controls, ERP enhancements, and cross-functional projects.
• Support day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, fixed assets, and reporting.
