TEEMA Group seeks a Senior Cost Accountant in Saint Louis, MO to oversee detailed cost records and reporting within a manufacturing setting. You will ensure GAAP-compliant cost allocations, participate in month-end close, and drive cost improvements across finance, supply chain, and operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of cost accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting required.
• 3–5 years cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and cost reporting.
• Experience with GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze detailed cost records, including inventory and manufacturing costs.
• Prepare and review cost reports, variances, and GAAP-compliant statements.
• Review standard cost ERP transactions for accurate reporting.
• Execute month-end close activities with journals and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and operations to optimize costs.
• Support A/R, A/P and treasury functions as needed.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Provide ERP and financial system training and process improvements.
