Brown Machine Group in Beaverton, MI, seeks a Senior Accountant to lead cost accounting and financial reporting for our manufacturing operations. You will ensure GAAP-compliant statements, maintain general ledger integrity, and produce timely reports for management and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to work independently across departments. Proficiency in Excel and Epicor ERP is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent plus 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Epicor ERP or similar accounting systems.
• Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate monthly and yearly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconcile and balance the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers monthly.
• Enter journal entries and update job cost reports.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and budget processes.
• Review intercompany balances and costing in the system.
• Manage daily cycle counts and monitor inventory levels.
• Process payments through the system and obtain approvals.
• Support year-end audit requests and management reporting.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate cost accounting data.
