Job summary

Cosma International, part of Magna International, is seeking a finance professional to manage cost accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close activities within our Michigan operations. You will provide financial analysis, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support intercompany accounting in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting, 5–10 years of accounting experience, and strong Excel/ERP skills (SAP or similar).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide error free analyses of accounts to Controller and Assistant Controller.
• Maintain cost accounting system; open jobs, purchase orders, cost tracking, invoicing.
• Analyze job cost actuals vs quotes/POs.
• Support month end close with financial analysis.
• Maintain WIP, fixed assets, accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist in reconciliations for month/quarter/year end.
