Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Corrugated Specialist to source and procure corrugated products in coordination with buyers, operations, and sales across multiple facilities.

The role involves collaborating with external vendors to develop solutions that meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include leading projects from production to delivery, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing technical guidance to sales and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corrugated product distribution, manufacturing, sales, and/or design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of corrugated market conditions and dynamics.
• Understanding of corrugated manufacturing, board grades, box styles, and printing methods.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and procurement of corrugated products in collaboration with buyers, ops, and sales across facilities.
• Lead corrugated projects through production to delivery, coordinating with external vendors to meet customer expectations.
• Identify cost-out opportunities and alternative designs.
• Provide technical guidance to align product execution with customer needs and support service teams.
• Coordinate quality-control procedures for new and existing corrugated products and supplier audits.
• Willingness to travel and perform onsite visits as required.
