Job summary

Corrpro Companies in Hayward, California seeks an AMPP CP Certified Corrosion Engineer to lead complex cathodic protection system projects. You will review data, define objectives, and craft designs, specifications and reports while coordinating field activities and installation with teams across the company.

The role requires a BS in a relevant engineering field, CP certification, and 2 years of protection experience, plus strong project management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or related field.
• AMPP CP Tester or Technician Certification required.
• 2 years cathodic protection survey and design experience.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team and internal customer service skills.
• Must live in the greater Seattle area.
• Willingness to travel regionally to clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform complex engineering design duties for cathodic protection systems.
• Review data, discuss objectives, and select engineering methods.
• Prepare designs, specifications and reports.
• Plan and schedule activities for efficient resource use.
• Coordinate installation processes and supervision of tests.
• Support other divisions with technical supervision and assistance.
• Assist in cost estimation and detailed proposal development.
