Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an experienced corrosion and asset integrity engineer to develop and implement comprehensive corrosion control programs across pipelines and processing facilities. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in corrosion or asset integrity, strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, and proficiency with Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• Seven or more years of experience in corrosion or asset integrity engineering.
• Experience with corrosion damage mechanisms and risk criteria in hydrocarbon systems.
• Proven track record of achieving goals and developing teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and engineering software (AutoCAD, Excel, Project, Access).
• Experience evaluating and prioritizing operational problems and coordinating responses.
• Background in pipelines or hydrocarbon processing facilities design, operation, and maintenance.
• Ability to read/process diagrams and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve corrosion control programs across assets.
• Maintain corrosion control documents, threat assessments, inspection plans, and mitigation strategies.
• Support and optimize RBI programs to identify and mitigate risks.
• Evaluate corrosion threats and recommend monitoring and prevention strategies.
• Establish corrosion monitoring programs using coupons, probes, and data review.
• Communicate recommendations to operations, engineering, and leadership.
• Support capital projects with material selection and integrity risk assessments.
• Collaborate with operations, reliability, and process engineering teams.
• Develop engineering recommendations to reduce corrosion threats and extend asset life.
• Review and approve corrosion studies, assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Evaluate industry best practices and emerging technologies for asset applications.
• Provide mentorship and technical development for engineers and integrity personnel.
• Support development of performance metrics and KPI tracking.
