Qualifications

• There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.
• You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
• Some examples of this qualifying experience are:
• Experience advising executive staff on all matters concerning institution custodial and security.
• Experience formulating and implementing correctional policy.
• Experience coordinating requirements with other departments, ensuring institutional security controls, and emergency response.
• Experience developing the departmental budget, giving consideration to custodial requirements, inmate care, and administrative needs.
• To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time spent in activities.
