Raymond James is seeking a Tax Senior Accountant to serve as a corporate tax generalist supporting state tax compliance, audits, notices, and ASC 740 income tax provision. The role partners with internal and external stakeholders and may lead defined projects while mentoring colleagues.

Responsibilities include reviewing federal and state returns, researching regulations, and assisting with technology improvements and tax analytics in a fast-paced environment. Remote work options available.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years’ experience in tax accounting and compliance (public accounting preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with state audit requests and coordinates with state auditors regarding tax issues.
• Researchers and implements IRS and state regulations and interpretations.
• Prepares and reviews federal and state tax compliance work papers and forms.
• Reviews Federal and state income tax returns, including consolidated/combined returns.
• Supervises and analyzes state apportionment and allocation work papers.
• Reviews tax return extensions and quarterly estimated payments.
