Cooley LLP in Colorado is seeking a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join the Colorado team. The role supports complex transactions, assists in formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporate entities, and coordinates closings under attorney supervision.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of transactional experience in Private Equity, Capital Markets, and M&A, with excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail. Overtime may be required.

• 5+ years of transactional experience in Private Equity, Capital Markets, and M&A matters is desired.
• Available to work overtime, as required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with personnel and to handle confidential information discreetly.

Senior Corporate Paralegal Cooley is seeking a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join the Colorado team.

Position Summary

Senior corporate paralegals provide legal support with general corporate maintenance and complex transactions for both private and public company clients and have the technical skills and professional maturity to operate independently with minimal guidance from an attorney. They perform a range of tasks that assist the Firm in providing legal services to clients, including tasks that might otherwise be assigned to associates, all under the supervision of attorneys.

• Coordinate closings and prepare related documents
• Prepare legal opinions and assemble opinion back-up
• Draft and file corporate and securities filings

The expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $45.00 - $65.00 ($93,600.00 - $135,200.00 annually). Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
