Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Senior Design Professional for its Corporate Interiors practice in New York City. The role leads design initiatives from concept to construction, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a client-focused approach.

Hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office) with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate interiors is required, along with advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of continuous design experience in corporate/commercial interiors.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to produce photorealistic renderings with Enscape and AI tools.
• Experience specifying systems and ancillary furniture.
• Understanding of schematic design, development and construction documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients throughout the design phase.
• Oversee the design team and project production.
• Develop program requirements and space standards.
• Create 3-dimensional design concepts including lighting and FF&E.
• Coordinate design requirements with client, consultant and project team.
• Prepare design scope budget documentation and budget analysis.
• Review shop drawings / submittals for design intent.
• Periodically visit project site during construction.
• Attend business presentations and assist in scripting presentations.
