Job summary

Arrow McLaren, based in Indianapolis, seeks a Senior Specialist in Corporate Communications to drive storytelling for partnerships, internal communications and brand messaging. You will support driver communications and race-weekend media operations, collaborating with McLaren Racing to amplify commercial initiatives.

You'll craft press releases, feature stories and executive messaging, build media relationships, and provide strategic counsel to drivers and spokespeople.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Sports Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in public relations, communications or media relations.
• Proven success in pitching and securing proactive media placements.
• Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting athletes or high-profile spokespeople in media environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver compelling storytelling that elevates Arrow McLaren's partnerships, commercial initiatives and team brand through press releases, feature stories, executive messaging and digital content.
• Coordinate cross-series partnership announcements with McLaren Racing Communications, ensuring alignment in messaging, timing and narrative across various communications channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across Arrow McLaren's partner network and communications contacts to create proactive storytelling and activation opportunities.
• Serve as a key communications contact for an assigned driver, managing their media requests, storytelling initiatives, scheduling and strategic opportunities to elevate driver profile and brand.
• Proactively pitch stories to national, local, business and motorsport media outlets to amplify Arrow McLaren's partnerships, commercial endeavors and brand initiatives.
• Deliver accurate, engaging and on-brand written content through press releases, web stories and commercial-focused features, while managing content publishing through the team's CMS.
