Job summary

Massive is seeking a Corporate Actions & Data Quality Lead to own the accuracy and reliability of corporate actions and reference datasets. You will design validation logic, monitoring, and backtests to ensure correct historical adjustments and lifecycle transitions across time.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to strengthen ingestion, normalization, and lifecycle pipelines, while documenting rules for transparency and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in global corporate actions, including lifecycle events and adjustment logic.
• Experience with reference data feeds from exchanges, issuers, or major vendors.
• Ability to design validation pipelines and backtest-like data correctness frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of corporate actions—splits, dividends, mergers, symbol changes, spin-offs.
• Develop and run backtesting frameworks that validate corporate action logic across historical datasets.
• Build automated anomaly detection, reconciliation checks, and quality monitoring across multiple data sources.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies in reference data, instrument metadata, and lifecycle transitions.
• Partner with engineering to strengthen ingestion logic, normalization rules, and pipelines.
• Document corporate action logic and adjustment methodologies for transparency.
• Collaborate with product, data, and derived dataset teams to propagate adjustments across surfaces.
• Work with exchanges and data partners to clarify events and resolve conflicting information.
• Establish and maintain data quality standards to prevent re-occurring issues.
