Job summary

Corporate Interiors, a leader in workplace environments, seeks a Solid Surface Technician to fabricate and assemble solid surfaces such as Corian countertops. You will run shop equipment, verify dimensions, and reinforce joints per the fabrication manual.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of solid surface experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. This on-site role supports our Philadelphia region operations and benefits from a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Solid surface experience in countertops, enclosures, and wall panels.
• 10+ years in a solid surface shop environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow fabrication manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up or operate machines (power saws, jointers, mortisers, tenoners, molders, or shapers) to cut, mold, or shape solid surfaces.
• Monitor operating machines to ensure safe and accurate production.
• Verify dimensions and fit of pieces to spec sheets or blueprints.
• Assemble parts with glue, dowels, nails, screws or clamps and reinforce joints as needed.
• Prepare surfaces by trimming, sanding, or scraping for finishing.
• Maintain workspace and clean work areas and manage waste to minimize scrap.
