A leading ISP in New York is seeking a Senior Core Network Engineer to design and optimize their carrier-grade network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in telecommunications, particularly with Adtran and Arista technologies. Qualifications

• Experience with GPON and XGS-PON design preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in production networks serving large subscriber bases.
• Experience with subscriber management and AAA (RADIUS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-availability IP/MPLS core networks.
• Engineer scalable BGP-based edge and peering infrastructure.
• Lead IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack strategy and deployment.
• Support upstream providers and transit relationships.
