Qualifications

• Experience designing and optimizing components in distributed systems for scalability and operability.
• Ability to implement load and performance tests and work with data plane platforms for high-volume retrieval and processing.
• Develop automation/IaC for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Apply advanced security controls (encryption, access, remediation) while ensuring change, compliance and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and optimizes components in distributed systems with an emphasis on scalability, resiliency, and operability.
• Delivers features and load/performance tests and reviews peers’ implementations for scalability compliance.
• Builds fault-tolerant paths (redundancy, replication, automatic failover) and implements recovery-oriented principles.
• Develops automation/IaC for troubleshooting and maintenance and participates in incident response and RCAs.
