Zambezi, an independent, women-owned agency and Ad Age Small Agency of the Year 2026, seeks a Senior Copywriter to partner with a Senior Art Director and lead creative across diverse clients in Los Angeles. You will drive campaigns from brief to production, shaping strategy, concepts, and hands-on copy across digital, social, broadcast, and experiential touchpoints.

You’ll run with projects, pitch directly to clients, and oversee production details to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience as a Creative Copywriter in an advertising or creative agency environment.
Exceptional skill in headline writing, short and long-form storytelling and conceptual execution.
Hands-on experience producing work across digital, social, broadcast, radio/audio, print and experiential platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead big-idea conceptualization and tactical copywriting across campaigns.
Partner with Strategy to translate briefs into creative directions and business objectives.
Co-lead the creative vision with a Senior Art Director partner across multiple accounts.
Write copy across digital, social, broadcast, audio, print and non-traditional touchpoints.
Oversee copy integrity through production with directors, talent, and production teams.
