Job summary

Assured is seeking a Senior Copywriter, AI and Category Narrative to craft authoritative, credible content about frontier AI and LLM-powered enterprise systems for insurance claims. You’ll write thought leadership, explainers, web copy, product narratives, and ghostwrite POVs for the CEO, all while maintaining a strict, compliant voice.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years as a copywriter or content writer with a published body of work you authored.
• Genuine command of AI, frontier models, and LLMs for enterprise demonstrated through writing read by technical audiences.
• Experience writing for B2B, enterprise, or technical audiences and making complex capabilities clear.
• Exceptional writing range: thought leadership, long-form, web, product, and social copy in one voice.
• Comfort with deep product and engineering discussions to write without hype.
• Independent maker who writes and crafts words without managing a team.
• Based on the U.S. West Coast and willing to operate with startup pace.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert writer on AI, translating frontier AI and LLM-powered systems for enterprise audiences.
• Carry the category narrative into thought leadership, bylines, explainers, and long-form pieces.
• Write across web, landing, product narratives, social, and newsletters in a consistent voice.
• Ghostwrite CEO/founder POV, op-eds, posts, and talk tracks to position leadership in insurance AI.
• Turn complex capability into precise, vivid language free of hype, in collaboration with product teams.
• Own drafts end-to-end from brief to publish-ready copy, complementing the Content Strategist.
• Own the blog with steady posts that build Assured's organic authority in the category.
• Maintain high editorial standards for accuracy, voice, and clarity, ensuring compliance.
• Write within carrier anti-bribery and compliance norms; substantiate claims before publishing.
