Job summary

GENICOS, powered by Syneos Health, seeks a Senior Copywriter to drive concept development, write compelling messages for assigned accounts, and present work to clients. You will partner with art directors on brand concepts and own copy development, citing clinical support and annotations for submissions.

You will mentor other copywriters, stay current with branding trends, and collaborate across creative, accounts, and production teams.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in marketing writing and concept development, with at least 2 in professional healthcare/pharma
• Knowledge of pharma industry, drug development, FDA regulation and drug approval process
• Attention to detail and ability to annotate/cite copy and references
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word

In this role you will be involved in concept development, writing, and presentation of projects for assigned accounts. You will partner with art directors on brand concept development and will have primary responsibility for message/copy development, citing clinical support for messages, and annotation of copy for client submissions. Responsibilities may also include supervision, mentorship, guidance, and support to other copywriters within the Core Brand Team. Additional responsibilities may include:

• Collaborate with creative, account services, production, and extended team members
• Collaborate with editors and own accuracy and consistency in writing style
• Participate in the recruiting, hiring, training, and developing, of copywriters in the group
• Keep up to date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising, and related communications industries

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
