Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Senior Coordinator QHSE to support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of our QHSE systems at project sites in the US. The role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a strong safety culture, and drives operational excellence.

You will develop policies, conduct site inspections, lead investigations, and deliver training to keep teams aligned with safety standards while maintaining comprehensive QHSE records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive QHSE experience in energy services, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related federal, state, and local QHSE regulations.
• Proven experience in audits, investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and training skills with the ability to influence employees at all levels.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30-hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of QHSE programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for safety incidents, near misses, and environmental deviations.
• Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees, ensuring understanding and compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date QHSE documentation, including permits, records, reports, and incident logs.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure QHSE considerations are integrated into all aspects of operations.
• Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, spill prevention, and air quality, and assist in reporting as required.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
• Support the continuous improvement of QHSE performance through data analysis, trend identification, and best practice implementation.
• Act as a resource for employees and management on QHSE-related matters.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively train and influence various levels of employees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30-hour, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
