Compass Group USA's CulinArt Sector in Mahwah, NJ is seeking an on-call Senior Cook to prepare nutritious and flavorful meals for events and daily service at the Stryker site. Location: Stryker - 325 Corporate Drive, Mahwah, NJ 07430.

The role requires a ServSafe certificate and 15 years of chef experience. Schedule is on call with hours varying by events; pay ranges from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Responsabilités

• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety.
• Comply with health/sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Maintain daily production records and required documentation.
• Assist in cross-training employees; perform other duties.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
