Job summary

Restaurant Associates Corp. is seeking a Senior Cook for the Delta One Lounge at JFK International Airport, Terminal 4, Jamaica, NY. This full-time role requires leadership in a high-volume, à la carte kitchen and strict adherence to company standards.

The position offers full-time scheduling (Monday–Sunday, hours may vary). Responsibilities include supervising cooks, preparing entrees, and maintaining food safety and HACCP guidelines. Compensation is $24.00 per hour.

• Oversee cooking activities of food service staff as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.

• Assist in maintaining daily production records and required documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.

• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.

• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
