Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Cook for our Vernon Hills location. The role involves preparing and presenting a range of hot and cold dishes for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and catered events.

You will follow complex recipes and produce batches using classical and contemporary techniques while maintaining a safe, high-quality service. We value team players who are adaptable and reliable, with 4+ years of related experience.

• 4+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and events.
• Follow complex recipes and produce small to large batches using classical and contemporary techniques.
• Possibly supervise production staff and train/assign tasks.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and adapt to client requirements.
• Other duties as assigned based on account needs.
