Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
- Strong MATLAB/Simulink modelling and simulation experience.
- Experience designing position, velocity, and torque feedback controllers.
- Familiarity with multi-body kinematics/dynamics and reduced-order modelling.
Responsibilities
- Design feedback control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink and review models for quality.
- Research advanced control methods to improve closed-loop performance.
- Update/tune software to support released products.
- Test new controllers on hardware from prototype to released hardware.
- Collaborate with software, systems engineering and validation groups; participate in design reviews.
- Define and review software requirements and document architecture and tests.
