If you are an Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow and be a part of developing award‑winning controls systems software and automation products for our customers, located in our headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA. Alternatively, this role is eligible to be based out of one of our regional offices in Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Tinley Park, IL.
You will be a part of the Thermal Power Engineering group which provides fully engineered control system solutions for power plants in North America. The group focuses on the replacement of existing power plants with Ovation Distributed Control System (DCS). The Thermal Power Department provides all project management, engineering design, factory acceptance test, and commissioning services to deliver comprehensive solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the application design and engineering execution for thermal power projects
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout execution cycle and deliver outstanding results on all projects
- Be part of a collaborative and innovative team passionate about solving complex problems
- Participate in Subject Matter Experts teams
- Develop and track project engineering plans and issue monthly project reports
- Suggest and develop improvements for products and processes
- Collaborate and provide technical leadership to A/E firms and customers to help identify key solutions to customer concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of related experience in an engineering environment
- Experience with designing controls for a PLC or DCS application
- Experience in the power industry
- Ability to travel up to 25% in North America
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
