Davies Engineering Group is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer in Fort Worth, TX to lead design, programming, and commissioning of industrial control systems with a focus on Rockwell Automation hardware and software.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, ABET-accredited degree, and a drive to advance projects and client relationships. A strong background in AutoCAD, PLC/ HMI programming, and system integration is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience and demonstrated technical competence will be considered.
• 7+ years of experience preferred
• FE preferred. Motivation to pursue PE required.
• Experience designing, programming, and commissioning industrial control systems.
• Exposure to industrial electrical power systems is preferred.
• Strong computer skills: AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word.
• PLC control panel design experience with Allen-Bradley Logix 500/5000.

Responsabilités

• Lead teams of 2-5 controls engineers across multiple projects.
• Develop and implement automation quality control standards.
• Manage automation project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate construction and commissioning schedules with project teams and clients.
• Coordinate and manage teams in other offices.
• Build client relationships to support current and future projects.
• Meet with clients to define project scope and equipment preferences.
• Perform field investigations and coordinate with contractors and officials.
• Prepare control system designs and project documentation (AutoCAD).
• Develop technical specifications and cost estimates.
