Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists seeks a Controls Engineer with 5+ years of automation experience to design, program, and commission custom automated manufacturing equipment. You will develop controls solutions from scratch for new machine builds, focusing on PLCs, HMI, motion, and robotics.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and broad knowledge of industrial protocols, safety standards, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

Responsibilities

Design, program, and commission custom automated manufacturing equipment.
Develop controls solutions from scratch for new machine builds.
Develop PLC programs from scratch using Allen Bradley Studio 5000.
Design and configure HMI, motion control, servo systems, vision systems, and robots.
Integrate sensors, I/O, and industrial networks.
Support commissioning, FAT, troubleshooting, and production startup.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and vision engineering teams.
