Re:Build Optimation, part of Re:Build Manufacturing, is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer with deep experience in industrial process control and electrical/instrumentation design. You will work closely with clients, project coordinators and internal teams to deliver safe, reliable automation solutions for diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in industrial automation and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in control systems and hazardous area design.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; clear communication.
• Excellent problem solving, risk assessment, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Outline and record project requirements with customers and project managers.
• Create estimates for process control projects.
• Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial processes.
• Specify and integrate field instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, level).
• Apply intrinsically safe instrumentation and wiring in hazardous environments.
• Develop bills of materials and oversee procurement of components.
• Ensure electrical designs are robust, compliant with standards and safety.
• Apply project management to manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct site acceptance tests and support installation and commissioning.
• Work on-site at Rochester, NY and Rush, NY locations.
