Job summary

KFI Engineers PC in Cincinnati is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer IV to lead the controls design for HVAC projects. The role covers drafting control documents, sequences of operation, and field support to ensure delivery from design through commissioning.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to manage a project from start to finish.
Ability to meet with customers to establish scope requirements and define projects.
Ability to actively contribute to marketing and business development.
Experience mentoring others.
Demonstrated consistency in programming and/or large project management.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

Lead preparation of control documents: schematics, point lists, sequences of operation, and specification sections.
Stay current on control strategies and code changes.
Provide field assistance to support controls system delivery.
Manage and/or act as controls lead for larger projects from start to finish.
Mentor junior staff and define control standards.
Collaborate with controls and commissioning teams and industry partners.
