Job summary

MAU is hiring a Senior Controls Engineer for our client in Florence, KY. You will maintain, improve, and optimize control systems including machine, robot, vision, and measurement programs while supporting automation, manufacturing operations, and technical training.

This direct-hire opportunity requires five years of hands-on PLC programming experience and extensive knowledge of industrial control systems, automation, and robotics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of hands-on PLC programming experience in a manufacturing or automation environment.
• 5+ years of experience and/or specialized training in industrial control systems, automation, and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex programming issues in control systems and automation equipment.
• Design, develop, and optimize control concepts for automated equipment and systems.
• Maintain, update, and improve vision inspection systems used in the automation process.
• Provide hands-on technical training and guidance to controls and maintenance personnel.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, software, and hardware to maintain a high level of technical proficiency.
